In 1942 Walt Disney produced this short film for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. It stresses the importance of high American agricultural output. As always, any error or typo is mine and if you enjoy my uploads or if you intend to make $ or otherwise profit from these files, please consider making a donation to a veteran's charity of your choice and/or Archive.org itself. Sita is a goddess separated from her beloved Lord and husband Rama. Nina is an animator whose husband moves to India, then dumps her by email. Three hilarious shadow puppets narrate both ancient tragedy and modern comedy in this beautifully animated interpretation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Set to the 1920's jazz vocals of Annette Hanshaw, Sita Sings the Blues earns its tagline as "the Greatest Break-Up Story Ever Told."

These divinely inspired lyrics (set to the music of Schubert) are the Angel Gabriel speaking directly to Mary and informing her that she will give hope to the world through her son Jesus: AH MY MARIA... YOU ARE THE HOPE OF HUMANITY COME WITH ME TO THE HIGHEST HEAVEN TOGETHER WE WILL SURELY SEE THE LOVE THAT SHINES IN EACH OTHERS EYES ETERNALLY AND IN THE MOMENT OF THE DAWNING OUR HEARTS WILL BEAT AS THOUGH THEY ARE ONE FOR YOU OR LOVE IS NEVER ENDING THROUGH YOU GOD GAVE US HIS FAVORITE SON AH...

A young woman sounds the call for the noonday meal for the men laboring in the distant field. The wind pulls her skirts outward behind her, investing her form with an almost heroic, monumental quality. An identically posed figure appears in several of Homer’s oil versions of the subject from the 1870s, all of which reflect his concerns with depicting the wholesomeness of American farm life. The engraving provides greater narrative detail than the oils do, perhaps reflecting Homer’s interest...

In 1863, Albert Bierstadt made an arduous expedition to Colorado in order to gather studies of the region for this monumental painting, executed three years later in his New York studio. For the final canvas, he exercised artistic license—rearranging some landmarks and exaggerating the scale of others—to maximize the visual interest of this Rocky Mountain landscape. The picture toured the country on a yearlong exhibition and thrilled audiences with its dual effects of sublime grandeur and...

I don't actually believe anything this book says but I will say that since the International Geophysical Year in 1957 there was a massive exploration of Antarctica and most of the information from that has almost completely been withheld from the public. Antarctica is like the Moon to regular people, we have no way to verify any information coming from or not coming from government officials in any way.  Ralph Rene in his book "the last skeptic of science" makes an excellent case for...

Maps of so called Antarctica which they say is 2000 miles diameter and 6000 miles in circumference. However based on 2 different pilot testimony it's actually 20,0000 miles in circumference and 8000 miles in diameter roughly measured on a mercator rand mcnally projection map using the division law. One pilot says it's 17 nonstop hours from Buenos Aires to Sydney Australia, lookup that video on yt. At average of 550mph plane speed thats 9350 miles, not nautical miles. Google Earth gives 7300...

We're going to continue our way around the Caribbean with this next mix. My lady is originally from the island of Grenada. When I first met her, I initially thought that she and her family would be heavily into reggae, but in that part of the Caribbean, soca and calypso are more popular. We went to a family gathering last weekend, and the ratio of soca/calypso to reggae playing at the party was about 10 to 1. So, this mix is for them. Now, I'm not going to play the current 1000 beats per minute...

The few surviving installments of the legendary syndicated old-time radio program, in which Jean King, as Lonesome Gal, fashioned a fifteen-minute-daily persona as the kind-of virtual girl friend to thousands of lonely male listeners in the 1950s. Her trademarks included brief talks between music selections, talks that usually (but not always) ended in a conversational reference to the coming song's title. She even cut a record of her theme song, "Lonesome Gal"---as did Margaret...

After I heard the remasterd Version from 2004, I decided to give this nice piece a new try, even after there is a version from another person.... I tried hard to prevent gargling and aliasing effects, which are easy coming with massive noise removal, but also added very little reverberation and dynamics enhancement.
